Governing the Grey Zone in Modern Leadership

20 November 2025, WTC 3 Center Space Shared Workspace Area , Jakarta.

In the latest Leadership Jakarta Peer Group session by EGN Indonesia, Lia Alizia, Principal of Alizia & Partners Law Office, shared her perspective on navigating the growing layers of legal ambiguity in Indonesia. She emphasized that regulatory uncertainty has become a structural condition leaders must work within, where laws may exist but interpretations vary, and innovation consistently outpaces formal rule-making.

Her message underscored that legal governance today demands not only technical understanding but also the ability to make values-based decisions, maintain compliance credibility, and guide organizations forward with clarity even when the regulatory landscape is still evolving.

Another session was delivered by Veejay (VJ) Madhavan, Founder & CEO of Oulbyz, discussing how Gen Zs are disrupting the multigenerational structure. Both sessions were moderated by Yohanes Jeffry Johary, EGN Indonesia Chair.
